Bicycles & Car Park

Key information about bike storage and the underground car park.

Bicycles

Bike racks are provided in the downstairs ante-room to the garage accessed from the Foyer. We would also encourage residents to purchase a secure lock or locks to ensure the safekeeping of their bicycle. The Freehold Company will not be liable for the loss of any bicycle from these racks.

Bicycles mustn’t be stored or left in any of the common areas outside of the racks provided and bicycles must be carried across the Foyer to the garage door

Bikes that appear to have been abandoned will be tagged and, after a reasonable period, removed and disposed of.

Bikes must also be carried across the Foyer and not run along the stone floor, carpet or anywhere in the common parts

Car Park

Each flat has an allocated numbered car parking space, either along the underground garage wall or on the mechanical tray. Guilherme can instruct residents in the operation of the tray.

The car park is accessed from Wapping Wall through a neighbouring building’s garage, New Crane Wharf (NCW)

Access to each of NCW garage door and GJW garage door is by separate key fobs.

Neither residents nor leaseholders have permission to stop or park in NCW, or obstruct access in NCW or park in GJW, other than in their allocated space.

When driving into the car park, please wait for the garage doors to close behind you, and don't allow others to tailgate through behind you. Please exercise due care and diligence.

Bays are solely for parking vehicles. Bays are allocated either adjacent to the garage wall or on the central mechanical tray, instructions for the operation of which will be demonstrated by Guilherme.

Residents are not permitted to use parking bays for the storage of ANY personal items including petrol, oil, paint or other flammable goods.

The storage of such items is extremely dangerous and in the event of a fire, if it were discovered that such items were the cause, the buildings insurance may be jeopardised and the resident responsible held liable.
