Freehold Company - Great Jubilee Wharf Management Ltd (GJWML)

Great Jubilee Wharf is a Grade II 19C industrial riverside warehouse that was converted into 30 substantial apartments in the 1990s. The original developer owned the freehold.

In 1998 all 30 lessees joined together to form Great Jubilee Wharf Management Limited (GJWML), registered company number 03652841, in which each owner was allocated one share, in order to purchase the freehold. The current directors of GJWML are all leaseholders and shareholders in GJWML, three of whom currently live in the building.

GJWML has the responsibility of maintaining the structure of the building and providing the services as detailed in the leases.

The Directors meet regularly to consider the business of running this large and prestigious building and the provision of services detailed in your lease. The Directors are not paid.

The current Directors (February 2022) are:

  • Gail Carrodus [Flat No 18]

The Annual General Meeting of GJWML is normally held in January or February each year.

At the meeting the Shareholders vote on approving the accounts of the company, to address matters of mutual interest, and to elect or re-elect directors.

There is usually an open reception (subject to Covid restrictions) to which all residents are cordially invited, including owners and tenants, held twice yearly in the foyer, at which everyone can get to know their neighbours.

Our Building Manager - Guilherme

Great Jubilee Wharf is run on a day to day basis by our current Building Manager Guilherme Pinheiro (known as G).

Guilherme has been our Building Manager since 2022. Most weekdays he can be found at the reception desk in the Foyer during normal working hour’s weekdays 8am-5pm. He will be able to answer most of your queries.
