Building Access & Security

Everything you need to know about the building manager, reception, building security, keys and fobs.

Building Manager & Foyer

Great Jubilee Wharf is run on a day to day basis by our current Building Manager Guilherme Pinheiro (known as G).

Guilherme has been our Building Manager since 2002. Most weekdays he can be found at the reception desk in the Foyer during normal working hours weekdays 8am - 5.00pm. He will be able to answer most of your queries.

You can also call Guilherme at the reception desk from the entry phone in your flat. With the handset on the hook press the KEY button - you will hear a beep and Guilherme will call you. Pick up the handset when it rings

Guilherme will receive mail and any deliveries during normal working hours and will distribute post to the post boxes allocated to each flat, and deliver parcels to your front door. Residents must take responsibility for heavy items and ensure they are taken into apartments as soon as possible.

Out of hours and at weekends, residents must accept full responsibility for deliveries, receive their deliveries directly at the front door of Great Jubilee Wharf and must not “buzz” in the delivery man.

Security

We are proud that Great Jubilee Wharf (GJW) is a safe and secure residential building.

The building is covered externally and in the Foyer by high-quality CCTV which is monitored and recorded 24/7 to prevent and detect any crime and discourage antisocial behaviour.

Residents are reminded to be vigilant and ensure they are not followed through the Front Entrance or West door into their part of the building and most especially through the garage doors into or from the car park.

Please don’t hesitate to challenge anyone doing so, or if you prefer, refer the matter to Ron immediately.

Keys & Fobs

Access to the Front Door, the West door, the internal doors into the ground floor corridor and the lift are all by secure key fob.

It is your responsibility to ensure the safety and security of the fobs in your possession so please do not share. In particular, for the safety and security of all residents, fobs should not be shared with contractors, cleaners or other non- resident third parties outside of family.

If you lose your fob please inform Guilherme as soon as possible so it can be cancelled and replaced at your cost.

Guilherme can securely hold spare keys for your apartment and it is recommended that you do so, so that access can be gained either when you request it or in an emergency.
